A Song About B.D.M.
(to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle)
Bishop, Bishop, Bishop Dunn
When I go there I have fun
They teach virtues isn’t that great
They are the best school in the state
Bishop, Bishop, Bishop Dunn
The teachers are nice; one is a nun
The children are kind they’re nice to me
Say “hello” and you will see
Bishop, Bishop, Bishop Dunn
Our principal is pretty rad
He is nice and doesn’t get mad
Bishop, Bishop, Bishop Dunn
Our school is loads of fun
They teach compassion
They do nothing wrong
That is why I wrote this song

When you think of school what do you think of? You probably think of teachers, students, books, pencils, and homework. When you think of Catholic schools what do you think of then? You think of all those same things I just mentioned, but one more thing. That one more thing is Jesus! Catholic schools are the only schools that have the ability to talk about God. That is what makes Catholic schools like Bishop Dunn so special. So now I will explain to you how Bishop Dunn to this day teaches a wide variety of students from educationally challenged to gifted individuals, regardless of their background.
The teachers who teach these children are not only teachers, but ministers as well. They minister to these children about God and how to fulfill their lives, dreams, and schoolwork by believing in God. These teachers or ministers not only teach and show love and kindness but equality, honesty, social responsibility, patriotism, and self-reliance. They also use Jesus and themselves everyday as role models towards the students in their actions and service towards others.
As I stated earlier Catholic Schools are so special because we have the ability to talk about God and be with God through our school day. He’s invited and always welcomed whether it be science or math class, gym, or recess. God is always welcomed and present. I feel bad for the student that feels that they cannot talk about God or show their love for him during their school day.
So in conclusion Catholic School, like Bishop Dunn, are a very special place to learn not only your academics but also your faith in God, yourself, and others.

Bishop Dunn Memorial School founded in 1882, renews honesty and social responsibility. Our classrooms including teaching staff that uses multitudes. BDM fosters cooperation and a respectful relation to teach the nation. Encouragement, support that is what we have at this resort. We rely on parents as primary educators. Communication assures a smooth transition. Teachers practice their daily vocation. We give calendars, newsletters, and bi-quarterly reports. We challenge students to be proactive and spread their God given talents. At Bishop Dunn, we know fun, and we where rated number 1. Catholic schools have advantages, we can practice our religion. We can put up crosses to remind us of Christ. We can sing and praise the Lord. We can also pray every day. Catholic schools offer a lot of love and it comes from above. Catholic schools let you go to church during the day. Schools like Bishop Dunn are great. You learn to be reliable every once in a while. You unlock talents hidden inside. Public schools are not fools, they just have a different point of view in their eyes. They don’t realize where the loves comes from inside. That’s one of our advantages. In a Catholic school, you’ll come out better than a fool.

Teachers care about us,

value all of us,
and make us shine no matter what.
Get to learn about Jesus,
God,
the Holy Spirit,
and all things holy.
No rules against praying in school.
We receive opportunities as far as music,
drama,
and sports.
We get to do,
individual,
and partner projects with our friend.
Meet different kids from smart,
to challenged,
from funny,
to nice.
All of us get along great.
I love every Catholic school!

Bishop, Bishop, Bishop Dunn
Everyday I see two grateful nuns
Everybody has a lot of encouragement
At this school we receive a lot of spiritual nourishment
We all get guidance from every teacher
And Mr. D. spreads kindness through the speakers
Bishop Dunn is full of patience and love
To get through the doors of my school I need no shove
If you never went to Bishop Dunn
Parents get going and bring your daughter or son
At this school you would learn so much
And this school has great lunch
The school has such great teachers
What keeps this school warm and happy is the heaters
Later on we have recess
Don’t worry your lunch box won’t get smashed to pieces
Now let’s get to the real stuff
At this school nobody is rough
We really like religious education
So try to resist bad temptation
We all learn social responsibility
And we just did a project on our family tree
Whenever we get a change we give to charity
In this word it’s a rarity
We all love to cooperate
And we all have a lucky Saint
Mrs. B. is an inspiration
And she has a lot of motivation
We all have fun and laugh and learn
There are special things that we can earn
So Bishop Dunn is the school for you so have fun and LEARN
