 Welcome to the Bishop Dunn Library

                   Reading takes you Places!

Grades Pre-K through six will be visiting the library on a weekly basis.  Students wil be learning library skills as well as good library citizenship. 

Students in the fifth and sixth grade will be asked to become "library pages."  Which means a library helper; they will learn how to file books and other library duties. 

All grades participate in Children's Book Week and other special library events such as, author/illustrator of the month and literature/art projects.

At times the library and surrounding area come alive with color from all their efforts!

As you can see, we will be sharing a very busy and fun year here in the BDM Library.
