ATTENTION PARENTS
Stage crew will begin to come to rehearsals on Tuesday, 5/15. Each stage crew member needs to attend all rehearsals. Each person has been assigned a performance. Please look at the stage crew schedule at the end of the rehearsal schedule. All crew members who attend rehearsals and work crew on their assigned night are invited to the cast party!

Get ready for performance!
All girls need to wear a flesh colored leotard and stockings under their costumes. (Bird Girls and Mayzie need black leotards and tights)
Boys need to wear undershirts and BLACK socks, unless different socks are provided with their costume.

PRODUCTION WEEK SCHEDULE:
Please note that rehearsal on Tuesday, 5/22 and Wednesday, 5/23 will be from 4:00-7:00 pm to accomodate the orchestra. Please arrange for students to be at MSMC Theatre at 4:00. Send kids with food. We will not be stopping for a dinner break, but the kids can eat when they are not on stage.

All participants need to be picked up/signed out (by a parent/legal guardian) from the stage door at Aquinas and delivered to the gym door at BDMS where each student will be checked in.
We need help striking the set at Aquinas Theatre immediately following the Saturday night performance. Any parents/older siblings who can help (we need people with some strength!) please let Mrs. Trieste know. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE
Now that we are in the home stretch, please make drama the priority in your activities schedule. Early in the rehearsal process, we gladly work around the BDMS basketball and cheerleading schedule. We believe it is important for the kids to have a variety of activities.
If you are unable to attend rehearsals (or performances!!) due to other activities, please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements. Thank you for your cooperation.

In order to participate in BDMS Drama’s production of Seussical, the undersigned student and parent understand and agree to the following procedures and/or expectations:
*We understand that there are three performances: May 25, 2012 at 7pm; May 26, 2012 at 12pm and 7pm.
*In order to participate in the final performances, students must attend rehearsals. IF A CHILD MISSES REHEARSALS, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT S/HE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PERFORM A SPECIFIC SCENE OR DANCE.
*All boys need to purchase jazz shoes. All girls need to purchase character shoes. (As rehearsals progress, some performers will be asked to buy tap shoes.)
*There is a $280 participation fee, which covers the ever-increasing production costs. (Also included in the fee are: DVD of performance, t-shirt and cast party)
*Performers only in the rehearsal/performance space. Parents, siblings and caregivers need to wait for the children in the BDMS lobby.
*Parents/relatives of participants are asked to behave in a mature and calm manner at all times. Confrontational behavior towards BDMS faculty or other students will not be tolerated and will result in that parent/relative being banned from all BDMS Drama activities, including performances.
*Singing rehearsals will be on Saturday mornings. Acting and dancing will be on different days after school. We accomodate basketball and cheerleading as best we can. To accept a lead role, drama needs to be the priority.
*We rent our costumes from Marlu Costumes in Port Jervis – no outside substitutions unless approved by directors.
*The cast party is immediately following the Saturday night May 26th performance. THE CAST PARTY IS FOR THE CAST AND CREW ONLY! No family members, friends or alumni allowed.
*All participants are expected to behave in a mature and cooperative manner. WE WILL REMOVE PEOPLE FROM THE PRODUCTION WHO ARE UNABLE TO BEHAVE IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER.
*Parents are asked to please be patient while waiting for their children. All of us are busy and have hectic schedules. Please be certain that you and your child can make this time commitment before signing up for this activity.
