All participants need to bring a PLASTIC baseball bat, baseball glove (worn on the left hand) and a tennis/plastic ball to every dance practice.  Please don't spend a fortune on these items!  You can find them cheap at dollar stores and Walmart...you probably have them in your basement or attic! PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME ON ALL ITEMS!

The $200 drama fee was due on January 22nd.  If you haven't sent it in yet, please do so as soon as possible.  Make checks payable to Bishop Dunn Drama. Thank you!

In order to participate in BDMS Drama’s production of Damn Yankees, the undersigned student and parent understand and agree to the following procedures/expectations:

*We understand that there are three performances: May 21st at 7pm; May 22nd at 12pm and 7pm.

*In order to participate in the final performances, students must attend rehearsals. IF A CHILD MISSES REHEARSALS, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT S/HE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PERFORM A SPECIFIC SCENE OR DANCE.

*All participants need to procure tap and jazz shoes by JANUARY 6, 2010. (Check the BDMS Drama website for places to get shoes reasonably.)

*There is a $200 flat fee to participate.  This fee includes: costume rental, DVD, cast party, Damn Yankees t-shirt and a great experience!  THIS FEE IS DUE BY JANUARY 22, 2010.

*Performers only in the rehearsal space.  Parents, siblings and caregivers need to wait for their children in the BDMS lobby.

*Saturday rehearsals MAY become necessary. These rehearsals run from 9-3.

*As we get closer to the performance date, it may be necessary to have dance rehearsals until 6:30.

*We rent our costumes from Marlu Costumes in Port Jervis – no outside substitutions unless approved by directors.

*The cast party is immediately following the Saturday night May 22ND  performance.  THE CAST PARTY IS FOR THE CAST AND CREW ONLY!  No family members, friends or alumni allowed.

*All participants are expected to behave in a mature and cooperative manner. WE WILL REMOVE PEOPLE FROM THE PRODUCTION WHO ARE UNABLE TO BEHAVE IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER.

*Parents are asked to please be patient  while waiting for their children.  All of us are busy and have hectic schedules.  Please be certain that you and your child can make this time commitment before signing up for this activity.

We have read the above procedures and expectations and agree to these terms.
